The position monitors the system controls and evaluates trend performance of plantĮquipment against an established level of service. Creating preventative and corrective maintenance work orders for Utility Plant Mechanics. Responsibilities include: operating, regulating and monitoring all Utility Plant equipment in an efficient and safe manner. Position will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and operating the University of Florida’s Central Energy Plants, including the electrical, steam, and chilled water production equipment. The CMA will work with integrated patient-centered medical home team to provide patient care and perform administrative, clinical and laboratory duties in support of clinic and providers in a friendly and helpful manner. The Certified Medical Assistant will provide medical support activities for clinicians in a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic serving pediatric and adult patients, including HIV infected and affected populations. Participates in a variety of activities involved in the collection, compilation and documentation of clinical research data.
May assist with completion of IRB and other regulatory documentation. Takes a lead role in the overall coordination of HIV-related and non HIV-related (including research with COVID positive patients) research protocols including treatment, observational and chart extraction studies. The Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for research specific quality care of pediatric, adolescent and adult patients within UF CARES while maintaining a holistic family-oriented viewpoint.
